This is me, Olga Roldan-Reoyo, the face behind Women Move Beyond, WoMB.

I am PhD in Sport Science and Physical Activity specialist in exercise during pregnancy and postpartum.

I’ve been working and researching with pregnant women since 2010. Although I am not a mum myself, I got really excited about the prospect of helping women during and after their pregnancies. That’s why I decided to dedicate my professional life to all of you. I am currently working for Swansea University (Wales, UK), as a researcher with a Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant award, one of the most prestigious research awards in Europe. This research project aims to evaluate the effect of exercise in the maternal/foetal cardiovascular adaptations. I am aware that research and academia are the way to keep learning and the way to keep helping exercise professionals to improve their practice. That’s why I research, so I can learn, help and teach. My teaching is based in the Sport Science Degree in Swansea University, I am also a guest lecturer at the midwifery school in the same university.

Initial interview

Once I know whether we can work together I will contact you to book our initial interview. During this interview I will ask you loads of things related to your health and activity history. I will also go through some essential aspects of the exercise programme so when we start you already know the main things about it.

What’s included within WoMB holistic exercise programme?

The service includes the following:

What if I only want the exercise programme and not the holistic approach?

I personally recommend the holistic programme, since pregnancy must be understood in an integrative manner to completely fulfil all the pregnancy needs. Therefore, you will have the best experience of your pregnancy. But you are also welcome to be part only of the exercise classes. The price for this service is £85/month only during launching period (£120/month original price). This service includes access to all live-online exercise sessions and phone app where you will have all classes, also the Move during labour Bonus. This service does not include the monthly physical activity prescription, neither any of the educational videos nor access to the live-online Q&A session with the other specialists.

What happens if I have my baby before finishing the holistic programme?

The programme has been planned in a way that all of you should start between 14-18 weeks (maximum 20 weeks pregnant) pregnant. Therefore, you all should be able to complete the whole programme before giving birth. I have also planned for all educational and Q&A sessions to be finishing between the 34th-38th week of the pregnancy. In case you give birth prematurely, you will receive the educational videos you have left (since most of them are related to the postnatal period). No more payments will be deducted from your account, an access to the phone App will be finished. Attendance to the Q&A session (the ones you have left) is possible via additional payment.

Is this service refundable?

There is a 14-day policy return only of the first payment. However, and unfortunately, in case you may develop a pregnancy-related disease which might be listed as an absolute or relative contraindication for exercise (we really hope this never happens to you). We will need written notice from your main healthcare provider, then you will be refunded ONLY for the period you have already paid and you won’tbe able to use. Since we also know that birth can happen any time between your 37 and 42 pregnancy weeks, we accept weekly payments from 36 weeks up to birth. In case you have paid the whole month and you give birth within it, you will be refunded ONLY for the period you have already paid and you won’t be able to use (e.g: you paid 4weeks= £135, from your 36 to your 40 week of the pregnancy, and you give birth on your 38 th week. You will be then be refunded for the last two weeks you didn’t enjoy= £67.5).

Can I access this service if I am more than 22 weeks pregnant?

If you are further than 22 weeks you are welcome to join the exercise classes. Since in the first months of the programme our holistic service covers information related to the beginning up to mid pregnancy. As you have already pass that stage, it won’t be fair that I charge you for something you are not using. Educational holistic videos covering late pregnancy, labour and early postnatal period are available upon extra cost.

Be aware this is the launching price. Once the launch is finished the price will be the original one £195/month.
